The Hispanic Service Center is located in the Credit Union’s main office at 409 E. Loop 281 in Longview. This area was established to assist those who do not speak English or those who merely feel more comfortable speaking Spanish, with anything from new accounts to loans and investments.
A wire service is available at a cost of $10 per wire for amounts sent up to $1,000. This cost includes a three minute phone call to the wire recipient for notification that funds are being sent. Money can be wired to 46 countries.
East Texas Professional Credit Union is one of the few local financial institutions accepting the matricula consular as valid identification for opening accounts.
The matricula consular is an official ID card issued by the Mexican consulate. All East Texas Professional Credit Union offices accept these cards so that Mexican nationals without typical forms of identification can open accounts.
The Credit Union has eight bilingual employees to assist with the Hispanic Services.
