Membership Application

East Texas Professional Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative. To join the Credit Union, each member must deposit a minimum of $5 into a share (savings) account. This is your ownership of the Credit Union. These funds will remain on deposit in your account throughout the duration of your membership in East Texas Professional Credit Union.

Membership in East Texas Professional Credit Union is available to all individuals who live or work in Gregg, Harrison, Nacogdoches, and Upshur counties (excluding those individuals who are members of an occupational credit union whose home office is located within these counties). Membership also extends to all individuals who live or work in Anderson, Angelina, northern Cherokee, Henderson, Rusk, and Smith counties.

Also eligible are persons employed or certified to work in education, health care, professional fields, government/social services and students in Camp, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Nacogdoches, Panola and Upshur counties. Also included are persons employed or certified to work in the education fields and students in the following cities: Daingerfield in Morris county; Hughes Springs and Avinger in Cass county. (Student eligibility applies to students ages 17 or older.)

Eligibility extends to persons who are receiving retirement, pension, or other benefits as a result of prior employment by any business or organization included within our field of membership.

Membership is also available to spouses of persons who died while within our field of membership.

Eligibility includes family members of an individual who is either a current member or is eligible for membership in East Texas Professional Credit Union. Family members include spouse, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and in-laws.

In addition, employees of the following companies in the specified cities are eligible for membership:

Family Membership shall include the following relatives of an individual who is either a current member or is eligible for membership at our Credit Union: spouse, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and in-laws. Community Eligibility: All individuals who live or work in Anderson, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Nacogdoches, Rusk, Smith, Upshur and the northern half of Cherokee Counties. Education: Persons employed or certified to work in the education field in the following cities: Daingerfield in Morris County; Hughes Springs and Avinger in Cass County.

Professionals: All persons employed or certified to work in education, health care, professional fields, government/social services, and students (as outlined in written Board policy) in the following counties: Camp, Marion and Panola. Any business or organization whose employees or members are within this field of membership.

Individuals: Persons who are receiving retirement, pension or other benefits as a result of prior employment by any business or organization included within this field of membership. Also spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this Credit Union.



 
All individuals who live or work in Anderson, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Nacogdoches, Rusk, Smith, Upshur and the northern half of Cherokee Counties.
 
Persons employed or certified to work in education, health care, professional fields, government/social services and students (as outlined in written Board policy.)
