East Texas Professional Credit Union is proud to announce that we have awarded a total of $454,000 in free money for college since the implementation of our scholarship program in 2001.
The East Texas Professional Credit Union McLauchlin Scholarship is a $3,000 honor for graduating high school seniors who wish to pursue an education degree. The East Texas Professional Credit Union Presidential Scholarship is a $1,500 honor available to graduating high school seniors who wish to pursue a degree in any field.
Applications for the 2025 scholarship program will be available for download beginning in September 2024. Applications will also be available through the counselor's office at any high school within our field of membership or at any Credit Union location at that same time. The scholarship application deadline will be February 15, 2025.*
*The student, or an immediate family member, must have a Credit Union account in good standing to qualify for either scholarship. The applicant must be a graduating senior attending high school within East Texas Professional Credit Union’s field of membership. Scholarship eligibility extends to students attending school in Anderson, Angelina, Camp, Cass, northern Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, Smith, Titus and Upshur counties. THE APPLICANT MUST QUALIFY FOR MEMBERSHIP THROUGH ONE OF THE COUNTIES THAT WE SERVE.
