Membership Eligibiliy

To become a member of East Texas Professional Credit Union, each accountholder must deposit a minimum of $5 into a savings account. These funds will remain on deposit in your account throughout the duration of your membership in the Credit Union.

Membership in East Texas Professional Credit Union is available to all individuals who meet one of the criteria listed.

ELIGIBILITY PER COUNTY
  • ANDERSON: All who live or work in this county.
  • ANGELINA: All who live or work in this county.
  • CAMP: All who live, work or attend school within a 10-mile radius of an ETPCU office location. All employed or certified to work in education, health care, professional fields, government / social services, and students (as outlined in written Board policy) in this county. Any business or organization whose employees or members are within this field of membership.
  • CASS: All who live, work or attend school within a 10-mile radius of an ETPCU office location. All employed or certified to work in the education field in Avinger ISD and Hughes Springs ISD.
  • CHEROKEE (northern half): All who live or work in this county.
  • FRANKLIN: All who live, work or attend school within a 10-mile radius of an ETPCU office location. 
  • GREGG: All who live or work in this county.
  • HARRISON: All who live or work in this county.
  • HENDERSON: All who live or work in this county.
  • MARION: All who live, work or attend school in this county. 
  • MORRIS: All who live or work in this county. 
  • NACOGDOCHES: All who live or work in this county.
  • PANOLA: All who live or work in this county.
  • RUSK: All who live or work in this county.
  • SMITH: All who live or work in this county.
  • TITUS: All who live, work or attend school in this county. 
  • UPSHUR: All who live, work or attend school in this county. 
ELIGIBILITY ALL COUNTIES
  • FAMILY MEMBERSHIP: Relatives of an individual who is either a current member or is eligible for membership at East Texas Professional Credit Union (including spouse, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and in-laws).
  • INDIVIDUALS: Employees of this credit union. Persons who are receiving retirement, pension, or other benefits as a result of prior employment by any business or organization included within this field of membership. Also spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this Credit Union. Employees of U.S. Steel, Texas Operations (formerly Lone Star Steel Company), Texas and Northern Railway Company, T&N Lone Star Warehouse Co., T&N Fabricators, Inc., Lone Star Trucking Company, Inc., (All operating under common ownership, who work in the state of Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Colorado, Ohio, Louisiana, Georgia, and Tennessee).
